PAPER TYPES

Matte Finish is a heavy weight paper with a flat smooth finish. Very professional looking.

Glossy has a UV Coating making the product very shiny and resistant to tears and spills. (not a surface you can easily write on)

Silk Laminated Paper provides a soft, silk-like finish that is smooth to the touch. Pieces done with silk lamination are water-resistant and tear-resistant. A great alternative to a glossy finish, because you can write on them.

Poly Frost gives products a translucent (see-through) frosted plastic finish. Very high tech looking, and elegant at the same time.

Linen paper has a very high quality "fabric" like feel. Very luxurious with a slight texture.

Metallic paper has a shiny look when turned to the light. Very fashionable and upscale...high quality with a "sheen".

Gloss Book is a thicker (100#) glossy paper used for brochures, posters, and similar products.

PRODUCT OPTIONS

Printing on Back [Business Cards & Post Cards] is available at no extra charge, whether black and white or full color.

Spot UV Coating means the gloss is applied as the name says...to specific "spots" on the printed piece. This can give a very sophisticated look to your materials utilizing different textures, and causing the glossy "highlighted" areas to really "pop". Looks incredible when combined with Silk Lamination.

Foil Stamping and Embossing are applied to specific parts (text or graphics) of your product, helping your information to stand out in an unusual way.

Questions

• When do I pay for my printing order?

Your payment will be due upon approval of your proofs. The proofs you receive will not be of print quality (high resolution), and you cannot use our design at another printer, unless you purchase the "design only".

• Do I have to pay for design again when I reorder?

No, unless you need major changes to your original design you pay only the printing costs when you reorder. The design fees posted are one-time only fees per product.

• How do I know if I need Custom Design?

We design all artwork for our print media. Unless you are reordering a product we designed previously, you will need to request custom design.

To create your custom designed piece, we will need your logo in high resolution of at least 300 dpi, in one of the following formats: .jpg, .tif, .psd (PhotoShop), .pdf (Adobe), or .ai (Illustrator). If you do not have a logo, we can arrange to have one designed for you (for an additional fee), or we can use plain text for your business name (you can specify a font, however if we do not own the font, there could be an additional charge to obtain it).

Color Space: All logos must be provided in CMYK color space without exception. If you only have your artwork in RGB color space, we can convert it for you during the mockup phase. Be advised that the two color spaces are slightly different and your design may print differently from the way it looks on your computer.

Providing your logo: You will have an opportunity to upload your logo at the end of your order process. If your file is over 10 MB, we will have to make arrangements for delivery in a different way.

• How Does the CreativeDot Printing Process Work?

Once you've completed the project form...

You will receive an email confirming our receipt of your project details.
If we have any questions we'll contact you, otherwise your next email will include your proof along with a detailed quote
(each portion of the project is broken down separately, including design).
If you have any changes to the proofs, they should be made at this time, via email reply.
Your proof email will include a project ID to be used for online approval.
Once your proof is approved and payment is made, printing will begin.
When your order ships you will receive an email with a tracking number (Ground Shipping is always free on every order).

NOTE: If you have a Frequent Buyer Membership, the progress of your order can always be followed from your member page.

• If I need Business Cards for each employee in my office, do I have to pay a design fee for each set?

No, you pay only one design fee unless you have to add something major to someone's card (such as additional graphics). You are allowed to change the name, title, phone numbers, email, & address without a new fee.

• What types of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards online. At this time we only accept checks or money orders from our Frequent Buyer Members.
